Free Therapy

In light of the hardships our community faces, is it even possible to provide free therapy? Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people, and many in our community are sufferingThere is a lack of funding for mental health programs, and non-profit mental health organizations are struggling to survive. As we deeply care about our community, we feel compelled to step up even further by offering our time to pro bono services.

We are proud to partner with Give-An-Hour to provide free in-person, phone or online therapy for clients who do not have the means or transportation to come to treatment. We offer one hour per week for a minimum of one year to every Give an Hour client we welcome. Our specialty is sexual trauma and domestic violence.

The truth is, we don’t receive special funding or grants from outside sources.   The session fees from our clients enable us to provide this service. We allocate a portion of our earnings to fund our free therapy service. We’ve been involved with Give-An-hour for a little less than a year, and so far we have given 100+ hours. Because of this, we are grateful to our clients for their ongoing support.

Not all of our providers can offer this service. It’s  our pre-licensed mental health professionals (interns) have completed their Master’s Degree and are supervised by highly trained clinicians, will provide the service.

To add, please note that we do not offer court appearances, legal testimonials, report/letter writing, proof of disabiliy/workers compensation, and case management to Give An Hour or pro bono clients. At this time, we do not offer court-mandated therapy to Give-An-Hour or pro bono clients.
