Relationship and Sex Therapy

Build Connection, Trust, and Fulfillment

When Love Feels Distant…

Relationships can bring deep joy — and deep pain when disconnection sets in.

Maybe you’re having the same arguments again and again, feeling more like roommates than partners, or noticing that sex and affection have faded away.

Perhaps you have a great partner but your past betrayal or sexual trauma has made it hard to open up or feel close again.

You don’t have to face this alone. Our relationship and intimacy counseling offers a safe, supportive space to explore what’s blocking closeness and confidence. With warmth and guidance, we help you rebuild trust, rekindle emotional and physical connection, and rediscover the fulfilling partnership you and your partner deserve.

No matter your orientation or identity, we see you, we affirm you, and you are safe here.

Understanding and Healing What’s Beneath the Surface…

Through trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy — and with AASECT*-trained guidance — we can help you address the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape how you connect and love.

  • Communication breakdowns and conflict cycles
  • Emotional or sexual disconnection
  • Infidelity recovery and rebuilding trust
  • Mismatched desire or low sexual interest
  • Body image struggles and shame around sex
  • Healing from past trauma or relational wounds

*American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists  (AASECT) is a global organization that certifies sexuality professionals in sex therapy, counseling, and education.

Relationship & Intimacy Counseling FAQ

Cool. Relationship and intimacy work can start with just one person. When you focus on your own healing and clarity, you naturally change the energy between you. You’ll learn new ways to communicate, manage emotional triggers, and understand what you truly need — and that alone can begin to move the relationship toward growth or resolution.
Yes! You might be surprised — nearly half of our clients are men, whether individually or in couples counseling.

Some worry that “Women’s Therapy Institute” means we sit around blaming men — we don’t. We believe healthy relationships honor and support both partners, and that true healing happens when everyone feels heard, respected, and valued. There’s no upside to cornering or blaming anyone — our goal is to help you both communicate better, rebuild trust, and reconnect with compassion.
If your or your spouse is already seeing a therapist here, your couples counseling therapist will not be the same therapist. The reason is fairness and balance. In couples counseling, the couple is the “client”. If your couples counseling therapist already has a relationship with one of you, there is a one-sided alliance. This creates an imbalance and makes couples work difficult.
Yes, absolutely. We are proud allies and provide an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples.

As the current sociopolitical climate continues to restrict access and acceptance for many in the LGBTQIA+ community, therapy remains one of the few spaces where it’s truly safe to be yourself. Here, you have the freedom to speak, the freedom to explore, and the freedom to live authentically. You can talk openly about your relationships, identity, and experiences in private without judgment, and with genuine understanding and support.
