Who is Barbara?

Hi, My name is Barbara and I’m a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s most meaningful—and sometimes most difficult—moments.

Since 2000, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adults, and families facing challenges like grief, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and complex family dynamics, including adoption, divorce, and substance use.

My journey has included serving as the Clinical Director of a drug and alcohol program for eight years, where I specialized in co-occurring disorders, as well as over a decade with Los Angeles County’s Adoptions Division, supporting birth parents, children, and adoptive families in building strong, lasting connections.

Today, in addition to my psychotherapy practice, I offer services as a mediator, adoption service provider, and EMDR clinician. I’m also a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Let’s help you reach your goals…

I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to therapy, and I believe in the power of a little humor along the way. It’s truly an honor to witness the growth, healing, and transformation in the people I work with. If you’re looking for support, I’d be honored to help you find the strength and clarity to live the life you deserve.
